I've found myself in a situation that has gotten confusing. It started off with this person (I'll call 'A') I met inviting me to the bar for his friend's birthday. I began to have this extreme attraction to him while there (no it wasn't the alcohol! ), which was quite surprising to me because I have not liked anyone other than on a friendship bases in the last 6 months. This was probably about 1.5 months ago and since then we hang out usually at least once a week, sometimes just us two or sometimes with a couple other friends. Other than that most of our interaction and communication is via MSN. In the beginning I found it quite obvious he took a liking to me as well. Lately though I'm no longer sure what he thinks of me. In the beginning he asked if I liked him more than a friend, I said yes and he was happy about that, then said he had something to ask me but decided to wait until we hung out..I assumed he wanted to start dating. When we talked on msn he would stay up all night to chat, always saying he was going in half an hour etc. We've also fooled around a couple times..though I know that doesn't always mean something, I've had my fun with friends before .There are more examples but this will get too long . However as time went by nothing more seemed to be coming out of it, his friend (I'll call 'B'), who also likes me, keeps saying that 'A' tells him he likes me but isn't sure what to do.. my only guess is that maybe he still isn't over his ex gf (3yr relationship that ended sometime in January I think). I can totally understand this, I just wish he wouldn't keep me in the dark. Now to add to this another friend said 'A' told him he wishes/hopes/thinks (something like that) that I would go out with 'B'.. but he told me he doesn't remember exactly what 'A' said so he might be wrong. I know not to take what other's say too seriously because of misinterpretation. Idealy I know I should ask him but for some reason I'm having trouble doing that, I guess because I'm so unsure.

On the flipside however, there is also such a thing as too much talking on the part of the girl, or just talking about herself constantly and not showing a lot of interest in getting to know more about me. In fact, I just had a date like this last night...aside from the girl not looking like she did in her pictures, she just kept talking on and on about her recent accomplishment in life, and barely showed any interest in what I had to say about myself. After about two hours of this I pretty much had enough, and started thinking of ways to end the date politely. She just came off as very self-centered, and that wasn't particularly attractive.
